The short answer
Can you park an RV at home?
Often yes, but there is no single nationwide rule. The answer usually depends on the city, whether the RV is on a driveway, street or yard, how long it stays there, whether anyone sleeps in it, and whether an HOA or deed restriction adds a stricter private rule.
Residential street
Street rules are usually separate from private-property rules. Permits, overnight restrictions and short time limits may apply.
Side or rear yard
Some cities require an improved surface, setbacks or a fence that screens the RV from the street or neighbouring property.
Sleeping in the RV
Permission to store an RV does not automatically authorize living or sleeping in it. Occupancy and utility connections are separate questions.
HOA and deed rules
Private restrictions can be stricter than municipal code. A city-compliant setup can still violate an HOA covenant or deed restriction.
